De stichting vermeldt in haar financiële administratie het doel waarvoor het vermogen wordt aangehouden, alsmede een motivering voor de omvang van dat vermogen. Het bestuur is verplicht jaarlijks binnen zes maanden na afloop van het boekjaar een balans en een staat van baten en lasten op te maken.
Het bestuur stelt een registeraccountant aan ter controle van de jaarstukken. De jaarverslaggeving dient te zijn ingericht overeenkomstig de ‘Richtlijn Verslaggeving Fondsenwervende Instellingen’. De bestuurder laat de jaarstukken onderzoeken door een accountant. De accountant brengt aan het bestuur verslag uit over zijn bevindingen.
